1. How does Megabon work?

Megabon sends you daily news about exclusive offers with discounts of up to 70% for carefully selected high-quality hotels. When purchasing vouchers on the website, MEGABON users pay only 20% of the total value, and the remaining 80% of the price when using a voucher in the hotel.

2. Do I have to register to make a purchase via Megabon?

Yes, you have to be registered to view the offers and make a purchase at Megabon. Your personal Megabon profile will be created, storing your personal data, purchases and vouchers. We need accurate information about you in order for your vouchers to be cashed in and to contact you in the event anything goes wrong, as well as to offer you help purchasing a voucher.

3. What does the “Buy” button mean?

By clicking it, you select from among the options for purchasing your voucher. The purchase is made in two simple steps: select the quantity of vouchers (max. three per person), mark the credit card payment option and click the button “Continue the purchase”. When you check the entire information about the offer and the selected purchase, and agree with the purchase, click the button “Complete the purchase”. After you have completed your purchase, you will receive the voucher to your profile at the website under the category “My vouchers”. Print the e-voucher and cash it in at the hotel where you pay the remaining value of the voucher.

4. What kind of Megabon voucher payment procedure can I choose?

You can select payment via credit card. After clicking the “Buy” button, you select the credit card payment method. You will be redirected to the Gate 2 Shop system website. When making a card payment, you must first select from the list of cards the card you wish to use for making a payment. Afterwards, you enter your payment card number and the expiry date marked on the card, and the card safety code. After making the final check of the purchase order, click the “Send” button. Now, you will be redirected to the homepage to your profile, under the category “My vouchers”, where the purchase will be recorded, and where you can see your voucher. Print the voucher, cash it in with the service provider and pay the remaining value in the hotel.

5. Is making a card payment at megabon.com safe?

Purchases at Megabon are safe. For card transactions, Megabon uses GATE2SHOP. The GATE2SHOP system is fast and simple, and uses the latest protection technology against data abuse. GATE2SHOP has a PCI certificate, ensuring that all the data are stored in well-protected “vaults”. Prior to confirming any purchase and selecting a payment method, always check the accuracy of your data in order to ensure that the purchase and subsequent cashing in of a voucher at the provider will be carried out flawlessly.

6. What is a regular price?

A Megabon regular price represent a rack rate paid for a night in a hotel. This is a term used in the travel industry to describe the price for a night, which a hotel would charge you if you arrived at the hotel without pre-booking it first. Since you are required to pre-book a hotel after purchasing a Megabon voucher, a hotel can give discounts on the rack rate by even 70%.

7. What is a Megabon price?

A Megabon price is not only a discounted price per night, but a discounted price for the total package. Packages usually apply for 3 days (2 nights) for 2 persons and already include additional hotel services for Megabon users only.

8. Do I have to use a voucher the same day I buy it?

No. All you need to do is buy a voucher on the day the offer is published on the Megabon website. A voucher is cashed in later with the hotel, after ordering a service, via the phone or e-mail address indicated in the remarks of the offer and on the voucher you have bought and received in your profile on the website under the category "My vouchers".

9. How long is a voucher valid?

After purchasing it, a user receives a personalised Megabon voucher, which can be cashed in at the hotel within the period from the date of purchase or during or by the date, as indicated in the remarks of the offer.

10. Can vouchers be joined to book a longer stay?

One person can buy a maximum of three vouchers, which can be used individually or jointly in agreement with the hotel to book a longer stay.

11. How can I book a stay?

After purchasing a voucher, book your stay via e-mail or to the telephone number of the hotel; both are indicated in the remarks of the offer at the website. This information is also written on the e-voucher, which you receive to your e-mail address after completing a purchase.

12. Can I also take children with me and how much does it cost?

Each hotel and room has its own terms and conditions regarding children and any supplemental fees for them indicated in the remarks. If this is not specified in the remarks, contact the hotel for precise information regarding this, as the cost and possibility for the accommodation of children vary among individual hotels.

13. Where can I see the vouchers I have purchased?

In your Megabon profile, on the upper right side of the Megabon website. When registering, you determine your username and password to access to your profile at any time, edit your personal data and keep track of your status of payments and the number of valid and expired vouchers.

14. Can a voucher be used only by one person?

Yes, even though hotel offers apply for two persons, a voucher can be used only by one person.

15. How do I access my Megabon profile?

Access your Megabon profile with your username and password, which you determined during your registration.

16. What should I do if I forget the password?

In case of forgotten password, click “Forgotten password” in the “Log in” box, and the system will automatically send a new password to your e-mail address.

17. How do I know whether I have successfully purchased a voucher?

After making a successful purchase, you will receive a voucher in your Megabon profile, where you can access with your username and password, under the category “My vouchers”. This means your purchase has been confirmed.
